About Project:
Boulder Dash Game project is developed using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. The gameplay is clone version of classic Original 80’s Game Boulder Dash. Talking about the gameplay, it is about diamond chase where a player has to collect all the required diamond in many caves using Keyboard controls (Arrow keys for Movement). Each level has different difficulties. The player can dig through the ground or push rocks and it’s also dangerous. If he/she stands below a rock, Rockford can hold it on his/her head. But if a rock falls down on the head, then the player is dead.
There are some not-so-friendly animals set such as amoeba and other things which a player should avoid. Butterflies of the underground should be defeated by letting rocks fall on them using different techniques. They turn into Diamonds when defeated. For the development of this simple web-based gaming project, GIFs is used, functions are set using JavaScript to bring the final output. All the gaming function is set from Javascript whereas HTML and CSS are set for the layouts and other minor functions.
To run this project, we recommend you to use Modern browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox. The game does not support on Explorer/Microsoft Edge.
