“Hostel Management System ” is design for Hostel (like schools, Universities). There will be predefine criteria for the Reservation to the hostels. He/She checks the attested application forms of the students obtained from the internet and verify it with the student database. If the students are found eligible then they are allowed to the hostel Room. This system is written in PHP and MYSQL. Eventully, it consists of one main component Admin side and user side.
Hostel Room Allocation System is a web application that aims at computerization of the current procedure of allocating hostel rooms. Currently, the process involves students filling up the forms and submitting them in respective hostel offices which involves a lot of paperwork, hence less efficient. However, every hostel has an administrator and is represent using the ‘administrator’ entity. Eventually, they can add, delete, View the student details, etc.
For the database connection first, you need to create the database named hostel_management_system.sql in the localhost/phpmyadmin/ and then you can import the database which is found inside the database folder.
