About Project:
Inventory Management System project is developed using VB.NET. The Project is based on a concept to maintain and generate a record of stock of goods. Talking about the project, Before entering the main menu, the user should pass through the login system to get access. After logging into the system, he/she can make a new entry of items/goods and use other features like maintaining item sales, item received, branch-issuer, capitalized-issuer, Expense-issuer, and Sales-issuer. While entering a new item, the user has to provide Supplier’s name, item name, address, phone number, date, rate, and quantity then the system stores the given data into the database.
Inventory record stored on the database is retrieved easily with each and every detail. Except for all those above features, there are more features included which can be accessed from Navigation Bar. It includes view stock – branch, customer, quantity on stock details, view store – supplier, customer details, change the password and get full reports. There are three types of search categories, by supplier name, item name, and date. All the items details with suppliers are arranged in ascending order using Symbol numbers. There are two search categories for the users, Individual and Group. Whenever a student drops out or leaves the school, his/her record can be removed from the database. Pieces of information about the school and contact detail are provided inside School Information tab.
Inventory Management System project helps in the management of items/goods within a short period of time as it is not time-consuming. This project is easy to operate and understood by the users. To run this project you must have installed Visual Studio IDE on your PC. Inventory Management System in VB.NET is free to download with source code.
