Project: Phone Book in PHP with source code
About Project
Phone Book is developed using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. Talking about the project, it contains an admin side where a user can manage all the contact details easily. The admin plays an important role in the management of this system. In this project, the user has to perform all the main functions from the admin side.
About System
Talking about the features of Phone Book, the user can simply add all the required contact details. For this, he/she has to provide the person’s name, designation, address and phone number. The user can list all the available contact detail and modify or remove it. Besides, the user can view profile and change the password too.
Design of this project is pretty simple so that the user won’t find any difficulties while working on it. Phone Book in PHP helps the user in the managing contact details. To run this project you must have installed virtual server i.e XAMPP on your PC (for Windows). Phone Book in PHP with source code is free to download, Use for educational purposes only! How To Run??
After Starting Apache and MySQL in XAMPP, follow the following steps
1st Step: Extract file
2nd Step: Copy the main project folder
3rd Step: Paste in xampp/htdocs/
Now Connecting Database
4th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”
5th Step: Then, click on the databases tab
6th Step: Create a database naming “phonebook” and then click on the import tab
7th Step: Click on browse file and select “phonebook.sql” file which is inside “DATABASE” folder
8th Step: Click on go.
After Creating Database,
9th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/phonebook/”
Provide the username and password which is provided inside the “Readme.txt” file.
LOGIN DETAILS ARE PROVIDED IN “Readme.txt” FILE INSIDE THE PROJECT FOLDER
