An online book system is the project report made for collecting books online using websites. This system will help customers get book online and read it. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive user guide that will assist the front-end users of the system in use of the system. The administration section of the system allows the business owner to update product catalogue, Update the shipping information, view shipped and unshipped orders. explains the details that a programmer will need in order to maintain and enhance the Book Store system.
This document covers the administration section of the Online Store. In addition to the administration section, the document also explains the Backup and Recovery of the database. The administrator accounts cannot be create from the front-end. The administrator accounts have to be insert into the database directly by the database administrator. There is an administrator account that has already been for testing purposes. It is recommend that this account is delete and new accounts are for security reasons. Eventually, the home page of the system below describes the general structure of all pages in the system.
The system has been develop using an agile development methodology. Therefore, the approach to testing includes all of these elements of testing. The unit testing has been the testing of each individual unit by writing code based unit tests. The unit tests have been performed by the programmers that are writing the system. The bash testing of the system has been perform by the programmers. This was essentially an initial system test to remove the majority of the work before the work was formally tested by the testers.
